What?? 50 amp service is 120 volts on two legs. If you lose the neutral you'll have 220/240 volts and blow everything in the RV.

If a tire is out of balance it will wear faster and balance will only get worse. The larger the tire (rotational speed) the more it needs to be properly balanced. A friend actually blew a fender off his trailer.

To answer your question. The transfer switch only switches the power to the fridge, from shore power to inverter power

I've had them on my Bighorn for over 7 years. Installed after the first set of tires showed some strange wear. They immediately corrected the balance issue.

Is the inverter near by? Maybe it's a aftermarket remote switch.
