If the anti back flow valve isn’t behind the access port in the shower I’d trace the tubing to its highest point, cut it and insert a check valve and call it good
What was the ambient temperature? We’re in Nebraska. Was over 100 yesterday. Obviously hot road surface too.
Today traveling westbound late this morning with the sun shining on the left side tires were 108-110° whereas the right side were 96-98° Ambient air temperature was 95. Experienced same...
The fan is 120v and the wires are joined with typical household wire nuts. The wire nut on the hot lead may have vibrated loose on the trek home. When power was connected the loose connection arc and power was lost to the fan. I’d remove and inspect before running out to buy a new one. Maybe...
Frankly that’s exactly what I’d have done. You should have received all of the installed components warranty information. We did.
Case in point…We lost a Dometic AC while under warranty. My dealership was 150 miles away.
I called a forest river dealer 6 miles away. Had a new AC installed in...
All the folks that replied need to read the original post…”encountered persistent issues with the RV's refrigerator.”
The refrigerator isn’t a heartland product. Everyone has one of the same brands INSTALLED BUT NOT BUILT BY the respective RV manufacturer
I’m not sticking up for heartland...
Sorry to hear you’re disheartened regarding your RV purchase.
Sounds to me you should be sour on the dealership for their lackluster service after the sale
We are on our second HL fifth wheel both of which had issues immediately after purchasing that required a return trip or two for resolution...
I drilled out the pop rivets then attached the replacement with 2 short machine bolts and lock nuts
I’ll get you a photo
BTW-if you shorten the vinyl stop strip the window will open further
Are you referring to the flat wiper seals around the slide outs? I replaced the outer and inner set on the bedroom slide because they were all torn
I didn’t slide them out or back in. I used a pick to get the top end free of the track then just pulled to remove. Cut new piece to length and...
Yep. Likely failed like ours did a few years back
You can replace it with the same thing or as some have with a larger one
I actually changed ours out to an 80A marine style breaker/switch and upsized the cables directly from battery to pump motor
Agree the internal pump check valve may be at fault. Sometimes, with some water in the tank (close the valve & let some water accumulate) cycling the pump might correct the problem.
Otherwise an external added check valve is added right at the pump, i have one, so there should be no need to...
Certainly check the ramp and garage floor for soft spots. I know 3 different cyclone owners with failures there. Also look for soft spots in the corners of the slide outs. Another area of flooring issues in any camper
If it’s a tri-axle, closely inspect the welds on the rear spring hangers...
I’ve had 3 leaking jacks, 2 externally and 1 internally
The internal leaker was the off door side front jack. It extended during travel and also allowed the other front jack to drop. It became so bad I had to strap them up to travel
Eventually had all 3 rebuilt locally for +/-$150 each
