You have to figure out what awning you have, should be a tag on the roller, but of course is you cant get the awning out, you can't read the tag. Should be a 9100 or 9200 if it's a Dometic. Google is your friend.

I seem to be having to replace the little on/off switch mounted on the water heater every year or so. The conne tor on the switch melts and the switch fails.
But that doesn't explain why it doesn't work on propane either.
I had the same problem until I put screws in each end and it hasn't come out yet. My vertical seals have caulk in the side so they are caulked to the camper. Maybe try that on the ends.
I had the same issue and same choice from Dicor, but also had a choice of $2750.00 and new material. I gave the material away and had Flex Armor sprayed on.
