March 30 - With the Pandemic going on Nationwide and the "Safe at Home" Ordinance by the City of Charleston, the Heartland Owners Club's 2020 Southeast Region Rally is cancelled.
Campground Refund: Refund requests must be made through email at info@oakplantationcampground.com. Do not call the office. Must give the name the reservation was made in, mailing address and the date of your arrival. Refund checks minus processing fee will be mailed.
Event Fee Refund: The rally will be mailing checks back to the address listed on the deposited check. If your mailing address is different, please private message (PM) on the forum to "nabo". Give us 2 to 3 weeks to refund/mail the checks.
Heartland Gives Back - Alzheimer's Association: Please consider donating maybe half of your event fee to this worthy cause. The link to donate on-line is listed below or on post #1.

- Number of sites held: 75; campsite fees $59.74 per night
- Register by end of day 3/30/2020 (site will be turned back to Oak Plantation by the end of the day.)
- Site fee: To reserve a site, registration is $40.00 non-refundable to Oak Plantation. This will hold a site for you and will be applied to your registration. Camping rate for the rally dates only will be discounted 10% off the standard campground rate per night. The 2020 season rates will be released by the end of 2019. If no one answers the office phone, leave a message with your name and number, telling them that you want to register for the 2020 Heartland Owners Club Rally. After registering, please post on this thread your arrival date, number of people in your party, t-shirt sizes and the type of Heartland camper you have. This will insure that you will be included in all the events.
- Club Member Event fee: $25.00 per person (non-refundable) over the age of 10; must be paid by March 25, 2020. Make the check out to Nathan Mathis or Byrd Mathis. Mail to our winter address: 225 Broken Woods Blvd, Davenport, FL 33837
- Non-Heartland Brand fee: This is a Heartland brand event only. No SOB (some other brand) will be allowed

9:00 am - Breakfast at the pavilion - Fresh pastries, fresh fruit and juice sponsored by SkyMed
2:00 pm - H.L. Hunley tour - this is a 90 minute (private) tour about the history and preservation of the H.L. Hunley after being discovered by the author Clive Cussler in May 1995. Cost $20.00/person to be collected before going to the Warren Lasch Conservation Center. Departure time from the campground at 1:00 pm.
6:30 pm - Meet-N-Greet at the privilion. Bring an appetizer to share and your favorite drink. Plates & utensils will be provided.
Friday, May 1:
8:30 am - Breakfast provided by the Club at the Pavilion
11:30 am - Charleston Harbor Tour. What a great way to see Charleston than from the water.
Rest of the day is free to wonder Charleston on your own.
Dinner on your own. Enjoy the many seafood restaurants in the area.
Saturday, May 2: Kentucky Derby Day
9:00 am - Pancake Breakfast provided by the Club at the Pavilion.
3-5 pm - Mary Kay Open House Hosted by Nancy Beletti. This will be held at the Beletti's campsite (tba).
6:00 pm - dinner at the pavilion provided by Heartland Owners Club. Menu - Lowcountry Boil, southern coleslaw, & cornbread muffins prepared by Lowcountry Boil Company. There will be BBQ sandwiches for the non-seafood eaters. Bring your favorite beverage.
Kentucky Derby Hat Competition - Ok Ladies - make your best Kentucky Derby Hats to be judged Saturday evening. Prize to the winner.
Silent Auction (all proceeds for the Alzheimer's Association)
50/50 raffle - half of funds will go to the winner, half will go to the Alzheimer's Association
