Jay - Unfortunately, we've had to cancel as our coach is at the factory and we've had to do a bunch of rearranging (cancelled two Grand Design rally appearances) and have to get to our warehouse and to Michael's mom's.

We'll miss all of our friends!

Had to cancel due to medical reasons. Hopefully back on the road soon. Debbie and I were looking forward to the Heartland Fall tour of TexS rallies.

When go to the rally next weekend, has anybody used Center Point River road coming from 173, or is there another way to get to the campground. Some times that river road could have water on it.

Where are you coming from? I have stayed in the park a couple of times, and have always entered from Highway 27 which runs from Kerrville to Center Point. I have never towed my Landmark across the low water bridge, but unless there has been heavy rain in the area it should not be a problem. Do not depend on your GPS to get you there. If you are coming from Kerrville on highway 27, after you pass the airport on your left start looking for Sutherland Lane which will be on your right. There is a spectic tank construction company which usually has a bunch of porta potties in their lot on the corner of Highway 27 and Sutherland Ln. Go down Sutherland Ln until it dead ends and then make a sharp turn to your right. The park will be about 3/4 mile or so on your right just before you get to the river. There is a rock entrance and I think there are flags too. If you are coming from I-10 via Comfort, Southerland Ln will be about a mile down highway 27 on your left at the porta pottie/septic place.

Good luck, see you there.

I have just received a message from Jim Beletti that has been added to the original rally post #1. Here is the new information:

Jim Beletti has arranged for Ross Lukeman to speak with those interested. Ross is a van conversion and van power specialist. Ross would like to educate attendees about solar and off-grid power systems. If you have an interest in solar power or wish to extend the time you can power your RV away from shore power, plan to join this discussion. We are planning to meet around 1pm in the rally hall. Ross will hang around for a while afterwards to learn more about towable RVs.

Please make plans to attend this informative discussion.

Ashley Killebrew Warren and I had a great time visiting with new friends and felt very welcomed. We look forward to more rallies and are already looking ahead to next year.

Jay and Stella,

Thanks for hosting this rally and keeping the campfire burning for the South Texas chapter. Nancy and I enjoyed our visit to the area as always and the rally hall at this new-to-us campground was excellent.

Great Breakfast Extravaganza too - thanks Frank, team and everyone who contributed.
