Fresh Water Tank Problem

I have a 2009 Big Horn 3580 and ran into a problem while trying to fill the fresh water tank. As I filled the tank, the water came flowing back like there as some immediate blockage. I removed the panel and noticed that the fresh water fill hose was routed above the hot water lines. The fill hose had some slack in it and it sagged below the level of the fresh water fill port on the UDC. It appeared to be creating the water flow problem, since I was able to remove the slack to increase the water flow.

Did anyone have similar problems? I used some flex ties to hold the hose in position but am looking for a permanent fix. I'm not sure if this is the correct routing of the hose or if I need to trim the extra length of the fill hose. Thanks - Chuck

I have a Sundance and experienced a similar problem. The cause of my problem was a kink in the vent hose from the tank which prevented air to escape from the tank when water was being added.
