Slide out topper

My 287 RL does not have a slide topper and I want to add one. What is the best brand? I notice a difference in price between brands and wonder if "you get what you pay for" or is there no real difference in quality. What has been your experience and what brand is best, as in durable?

Check with Heartland Customer Service to see what they use. I believe ours are A&E - Dometic.

Ours is A&E Dometic and no problems with them. It still looks like Heartland is using the same thing.

Not trying to dissuade you from the A&E that Heartland uses but I would investigate them all. We have the A&E and they have been just fine but there are other types with built in bellows to keep water from pooling. It is made be Carefree. Can't give you any personal input but may be worth a look.
