Bedroom heater duct

When we first got the 3670, I had to reroute the heat duct hose to the bedroom because it was bent over on itself behind the basement wall. I finally attached an adjustable metal elbow to the register and cut almost 3 feet of hose off the end to eliminate most of the droop into the basement area. Previously, I replaced all of the floor registers with adjustable types.

Good mod John. Every turn disrupts the flow and often the bedroom is where you want your heat.

True, but since it's closest to the furnace, I actually close the bedroom vent to about half or get roasted. With the adjustable vents, we can warm the living room better by closing down the bedroom and bathroom until it's time for bed. But I think warmer summer nights have finally come to northern Michigan, so we should be able to leave the furnace off at night for a while.
