Pleasant Surprise This Weekend

Pulled into Walnut Hills KOA Campground near Staunton, VA Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see a Bighorn in the site next to us. Was even more pleasantly surprised to see a Heartland Owner's Club plaque on the back. I walked over and met Jim and Nancy Pike who are also members of our VA Chapter but I hadn't met before now. It was a pleasure meeting them. Later that day I ran into Jim Dahlgren. He and Harriett were also staying in the campground. It's a small world after all.

Didn't someone say a while back, "You meet the nicest people in a Heartland"?

It was nice for Nancy and me to finally meet some of the other HOC members, as our work schedules/kids activities limit our ability to make the rallies. Hopefully we'll see more of you soon.
