Today, Tuesday, May 30. Saw a Landmark East bound on I 10 at mile marker 70 East of El Paso, TX at about 11AM.

We are in El Paso for the night and headed to Tucson, AZ tomorrow.
If you see us on the road be sure and wave or in a park, say hello.

Spotted a new Heartland Sundance on I-94 heading NW through Wisconsin towards Minnesota.

It wasn't you because this one was being towed by a transporter. It was on its way to a dealer, somewhere west to northwest of Wisconsin.

No Timk,,, not the best time of year to visit Tucson, but it is OK if your just passing through. Been a long time since I was out this way.

Well Princess, it was not me you saw. We were in AZ about that time, but still on I 10 headed West.

More later, as we need to get on the road to Williams, AZ.

Made it to Williams, AZ without any trouble other than a couple of wild and crazy drivers. Also lots of traffic on the highway. In the RV park now and tomorrow we sightsee to the Grand Canyon and all the other places around the area for 3 days. More later.

Jimtoo, You missed a nice RV resort here in Las Cruces NM. I have been at the Hacienda since March. Stop in if you get back this way.

Hi Racerguy, Thanks for the invite, but we will not be coming back this way. Headed for Lake Havasu City tomorrow and then on to Yosemite for a few days. Then to Northern Ca over to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and back down through Wy and Ut and Co and NM to Texas.

Well,,, the forecast was correct. Made the short journey from Williams, AZ to Lake Havasu today. 111 degrees in the shade (awning is the only shade here). Looking for even hotter tomorrow. And they don't even give discounts for off season visitors.

Did not see any Heartland Units on the road today.

More later.

We had trouble with the main AC unit when we first purchased. The dealer in Vegas replaced it sooooo in all my wisdom I talked the wife into a trip to Laughlin (we live in Vegas) in the middle of August!! There was only 3 RV's at Avi Casino.. My wife said it best.. You can't cool HE_ _ in a tin can!
Stay cool Jim!! By the way Auto Zone carried a cooler last year that fits nicely in our Monticello. Takes 2 gallons of water, as well as you can place ice in a seperate compartment to help cooling. Cost about 100.00

Wish we were there instead of here. Yesterday and today 111 and 113 degrees. To hot to do anything. Lake Havasu City is strictly for the rich tourist, even in the summer. Nothing happening here and if it is, it's to expensive.

We are outa here in the morning, heading toward Yosemite and cooler climates.

Hope all you guys have a good time at the Heartland Owners Rally.

Well, what a beautiful place Yosemite NP is. Kinda crowded but it was a good visit.

The temps were a drastic change from Lake Havasu City, high in the 80's and a low of 47 Friday morning.

Did see a Grand Junction on hwy 58 between Barstow and Bakersfield, CA., I think it was Wednesday.

We had to spend an extra day in Tulare, CA. Our traveling companions broke the rear glass out of their tow vehicle turning to sharp. (Makes a good point on owning a Heartland unit.) My wife injured her left knee and spent the morning in the emergency room for xrays. Now on crutches and wheel chair for a couple of weeks. This is turning out to be an interesting trip.

We are now at JGW RV Park in Redding, CA., a beautiful park, a 10 on the score board, where we will stay for about 12 days.
There was a Bighorn that came in the park after us, but they left this morning before we got to say hello.

More later.

Well here we are, still in Redding, Ca., Bette's knee is getting a little better. Did the MRI thing and Dr. suggested we wait on surgery till after we get back home. She has a couple of small tears and said it is not something that needs to be done now and there is to much swelling anyway. Wants her to start using it more and work it out. So she us using the crutches and getting along OK.

Have been visiting with family and eating to much. Took a nice ride up to Mt. Lassen Volcanic NP and around the area. The mountains are beautiful and so green with all the rain they have had in this area. May buy a license and try a little fly fishing for a couple of days.

Have not seen another Heartland Unit in all our travels around the area as of yet.

More later.

We are still in Redding, CA., visiting and eating way to much. We will be departing this area for Reno on Friday, June 23rd, for a couple of days before we head on up to Yellowstone.

In all my driving around this area, I have not seen another Heartland unit, except for the one that came into park late and left early.

More later.

We departed Redding, Ca. today and made the trip over the hill (Mt. Lassen) to Reno, NV. by way of Susanviille. It was a beautiful drive and a long climb. The forest are beautiful and green this time of the year. Pulled into Reno and am now at the Boomtown Casino and RV resort. And just up the hill from us was a small brush fire, which I think they have out by now. It was over about a 20 acre area from the looks of it.

Did not see another Heartland unit I am sorry to say. Tomorrow we hit the town and will do a little exploring. Maybe we will see something then.

More later.
