There is a large thermometer across the street. It's 11:30AM on the 30th of July, and the temp is only 55 degrees!! (13C)

That's for the folks basking in the 100's....

I'll trade places with you Al. Our AC is out:mad: and it's 90 here with high humidity. Thankfully, two small window units are making it survivable until our new system gets installed tomorrow:).

Ah Ha..
Woke up this morning and it was 45* (low was 41*). High today was 69*. It is now 66*.

It was so cold yesterday when we went to see Crazy Horse and we had to wear jackets. We are going to see the Lazer lights tonight (they were broken yesterday) and we will need jackets.

May need longjohns in Montana next week.. Ya think?? LOL..

I'll be glad to send you some of this Texas heat. Actually it was down today to "only" 99 degrees. The weathermen on TV are predicting a cool front to come in later today to knock the temps down even further to maybe 95-96? brrrrr

Here in Uvalde TX it might have got into the 80's, we had a great thunderstorm with some much needed rain and relief from the 103 degree it has been for the last month.

Just home from 3 weeks at a nice lake in northern NY. Started the 6th with it 52 degrees in the morning and got worse from there. Next 3 days in the mid 40s! second week in the 50s with daytime high in the mid 60s. Darn, this is July and we're supposed to be warm here. 3rd week finally got us some beach days with the warmest day the day we left. Saving grace was that the lake trout fishing was superb.
