So used to cable not sure how the antenna is supposed to work. by the tv shelf the is 2 outlets for cable. One is marked cable with a little red ligth beside it. Is the other one for the antenna? Do you plug the cable wire into that then your tv? What setting should your tv be on to get channels?

The wall plate with the little red light is an antenna amplifier. When you arrive at a campsite and are set up and ready for TV, crank up the antenna. Be sure to check for trees that may cause a problem raising the antenna. Push the button on that wall plate so the light glows red. Attach a coax to that connector and to the input on the TV. Turn on the TV and run through the set up and set the TV to "air". You should have an auto channel scan. It might help to if you go out and look at antennas on the roofs of other trailers to get an idea of a starting point for yours. Once you get a few channels on the TV, turn the antenna slowly one direction or the other for the best picture. With digital, it's touchy. If the park has cable, use the same connection but push the button on the amplifier so the light is off and tune the TV with the input set to "cable". The other connection on the wall may be for a satellite receiver if the trailer is wired for it.

Manual for Antenna System

Northstar:
Here is a link to the manual on the antenna system.

Many of the trailer accessory and even frame components (Lippert) manuals are online if you search for them.

You might want to pick up the Wingman add-on to your antenna now that the DTV switchover has happened. It increases the signal strength in the UHF band where all the DTV is.
