Bed hydraulic lifts

I had to take the plywood off my bed to search for something underneath (no comments now!), anyway I had to take those little black hydraulic lift arms off. Now they have fully extended and I can't get them to move so they can be re-installed. For now there is no rush to fix them but I would like to know how for future reference. They really don't serve any purpose other then to help access a 5 cm deep storage area that is just about useless, but they are the same as the cargo doors and they could be a good spare. thanks,None

re-install them with the bed platform lifted up higher, you cannot keep the strut compressed, so move the piece you can move, the bed.

I tried that and they act like they are frozen. I might have to try again in a couple of weeks when I get back to the trailer. At least it isn't really important!

With our unit we have to use a fair bit of force/weight to get the bed to close.

Eh!
