Go for it. It is easy and won't hurt anything.
I open all low point drains
and leave all taps open when I leave campgrounds.
With all them open, the lines INCLUDING the hot water tank drains from movement and GRAVITY,
I have been doing this for years and it works.
Also no stale water sitting in lines.
And We get surprising freezing weather up here anytime of year. and I have had lines split on me in he past with my other trailer. After a few tear downs to fix. I learnt the hard way.
Last year I forgot my under the counter water filter I had installed and it split from freezing.( this was the end of August). I now remove it every time I leave CG.
