TV not working on antenna. DVD player acting up. Ideas?

Since were on the subject.. How come I can not pick up any channels on my tv when I use my roof top mounted antenna?
I do turn on the booster and the tv tells me to scan I switched it to antenna and hit auto scan and no matter where I am I have yet to pick up anything.

Also my dvd will not play any dvd's without them stopping or skipping..I have used a cleaner on it several times with no luck.

The Antenna issue sounds like it could be a wiring discontinuity between the antenna and the TV. Or a poorly crafted fitting.

If you are comfortable with digging into this, redoing fittings etc., some of us on the3 forum can coach you through more trouble shooting. Otherwise, you will need to get your rig to a dealer or service center.

As for the DVD player - we'll have to let ASA weigh in on that. What brand is your player? Is it Jensen/JVC?
