new to forum

New to forum, Bighorn and retirement. We have a 2006 Bighorn 3500RL and a 2006 Ford F350 dually--love them both. Have been to FL and back to PA thru the beautiful Smoky Mtns. Hope to chat with some of you Heartland owners. Not sure about posting on forum or where. Hopefully, someone out there can help.

Hi 64ranchero,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information. They are always willing to help if you have a problem or just want to make a mod.

When you start a new thread or ask a question, just go to the area of the forum for the model of trailer and the area your question is about. If it is not in the best area for a good response, it will probably get moved to a better place by me or one of the other moderators.

Enjoy the forum and have fun camping.

Welcome

Hello 64ranchero,

Welcome to the forum from New Jersey. I see from your post that you returned to PA from your trip. The August Pennsylvania Rally was great! Sorry you missed it. Have a great time on the forum and enjoy safe travels in your Heartland.

Welcome to the Heartland Family. I am sure you'll figure the posting thing out real quick. Just make a good guess of where you think it fits and put it there. Kinda like putting up the pots and pans in a kitchen... you try your best be someone might "fix" it for you later;). There is an absolute wealth of info on this forum, so you can find answers to most of your questions. Enjoy retirement.

We have vacationed in the Smokies for the past 20 years--can't seem to get enough. As you can tell from our name (64 ranchero), we like old cars. Every year for two weekends in September, there are two huge car shows that we have attended for several years. We will be going this year on September 10--can't wait. Pigeon Forge is packed and everyone sits along the main street and watches all the old cars going past. If you enjoy looking at old cars, this is the place to be--plus you get the Smokies as a backdrop.

We're gonna be at a car show in Pigeon Forge Sept., 25-27...is this one of the shows you're talking about? I think it's held at a ball park just off the interstate...can't remember the name. Supposed to be very big.
