AC Unit in Garage Area?

Can I put an AC or Heat Pump unit in the garage? Is it prewired for this?

I put one in ours. No it is not prewired for it. The factory will tell you that code will not let them put one back there. But putting one back there works great! I had to run conduit from breaker box back to the rear

Loco, the AC looks great! How did you get the wire up to the rooftop to tie into the unit? We are wanting to do the exact same thing.
