Carbon Monoxide Detector

I just bought an Atwood carbon monoxide detector, where is the best place to mount it? I have an Eagle Ridge 35QSQB and I was thinking about mounting it on the ceiling of my living room slide because that seems to be about the middle, but I didn't know if I should mount it there or somewhere else.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Carbon Monoxide is nearly the same Specific gravity as the Air we breath. On the ceiling is fine... in fact the factory installed a CO Detector on the Bedroom Ceiling for our BigHorn.

Good question, I thought they were required to be installed by the manufacturer. Anyways, in our TT, the CO detector bit the dust after less than two years. They sent me a new one and advised that if the rig was to be stored for extended periods (particularly in the summer), closed up, to remove the detector from the unit. Seems the high temps and outgassing inside the rig can contaminate the sensor.
