shrink wrap

Just wondering if anyone has/is going to shrink wrap their trailer for outdoor storage this season? I've seen this commonly used on boats, and they have ventilation inserts for plenty of air movement. Dr. Shrink seems to be interesting. The cost is far less than a cover and indoor storage. It seems like the only really expensive item is the heat gun at ~ $650. It would be nice to group buy a gun and share it somehow. thoughts?????

Shrink wrapping takes some skill to get the plastic to actually shrink and not melt. Even doing dozens of boats every year we still have an occasional "meltdown"
SHrink wrapping material can get expensive too.

Besides the gun you need propane, tape, strapping, doors maybe and the shrink wrap. I would think the the 32 foot wide roll would be needed for the average 5th wheel and they are about 180' long. So for $400 worth of shrink wrap material you might get 3 covers out of a roll.

You can get an idea of pricing on Jamestown Distributors website.
