Wife wants to winter in Loreto, Mexico. Anyone have any recommendation or information on RV parks in the area? I've found very little on the Web and no reviews.

There are about 10-12 Loreto, Mexico's. Tell us what state in Mexico and maybe someone has been there.

A good guide to travel in Mexico in my view is a Book written by Mike & Terri Church. The guide book is called " Traveler's Guide to Mexican Camping " Fourth Edition.
Link: http://www.rollinghomes.com/Mexico%20Book.htm The Churches Spend their Summers in Alaska, with Mike being from that state... and they spend Winters in Mexico.

The Camping club - Escapee's also have a BOF Chapter called - Chapter 8 - Mexican Connection. They do their Rally each year some location in Mexico. They meet at a border crossing and then make their way into Mexico, following their WagonMaster. It's often a small group so as not to overload any RV Park they happen to stop at for the night.

The BOF ( Birds Of a Feather ) Mexican Connection also has a Yahoo Group which uses the same Name as the chapter is called...

If your not a member of Escapee's, http://www.escapees.com/ you can also do a google search and learn more about the club... I believe to belong to the Mexican Connection you must be a member of the Escapee's Camping Club.

Perhaps you can find additional information using these Internet Sites.

Good Luck on your research and the trip to Mexico.

Was looking for info on Loreto, Loreto Bay, Baja California Sur. Saw the website on Loreto Shores Villa and RV Park, but not much info there and wanted a first hand account. One source says 35' limit and 20 amps, then another says no limit and 30 amps - hey it's Mexico. There was another one called Tripui at Puerto Escondido that may have potential, but wanted to hear if anyone has spent any time there since the wife was thinking of a month.
