Tires, Wheels & Valve Stem Extentions

Our tow vehicle is a 2006 F-350 with dual rear wheels. Our truck has alloy wheels which are made of material that is over 1/2 inch thickness. The flexible extentions require a bracket or other device for stabilizing the extention. All of the stabilizing devices that I have seen are for stainless wheels which are nothing like as thick as the alloy wheels. My question concerns the valve stem extentions. 1) Do you know of an extention for alloy wheels? 2) Do you recommend them (why or why not)? 3) Is there other options? 4) Do the solid valve extenders require stabilization?

Thanks,

Good question, I'm interested in the same info. It just gets more and more difficult to check the air pressure on those inside tires.

I know you can get metal valve stems that are long enough or you can get screw on extensions for filling / checking pressure and then remove.
