NorCal Rally dates preferred?

Looks like Oroville KOA again, as it was a great park and worked out well last time.
Looking at either the last week of March or first week of April. Any preferences from those planning to attend? I will set the date next week after hearing back from you all.
To those that haven't attend a Nor Cal rally, the usual schedule is appetizers/drinks on Friday night, Pot Luck on Saturday. Because the casino has a nice seafood buffet, we can also schedule a Friday dinner seating if we have interest.

Hey Deb!
Unless Mark decides to take me someplace nice and warm for spring break this year, March 27-28 would be our preference. That is the end of spring break for Oregon. Don't feel you have to plan around our vacation schedule at all, but we'll try to come if things work out.

Deb,

Either week will work good for us. We're looking forward to coming to Oroville again, we really enjoyed the casino there too. :)

Thanks for letting us know. The Oroville Park is just a nice little park. If the weathers bad we can always use the meeting room, but we really lucked out last year. Hoping we get the same weather this year.

Either weekend works for me as well. And since I am officially from Northern California now - my offer was accepted on the house I was looking at - I would like to attend my first chapter rally!!

Awesome, Marybeth! Are you closer to me now? Close enough to do lunch? Shopping? Congrats on the purchase!

Hi everyone,
If I am ever done with these back surgeries, and you have the rally late March, early April, we would love to attend. I hear Oroville is very nice, so an outing like that would be fun for us. Have to see how many stops we would have to make to get there, but would love to see you'all. Thanks for so many of you for coming to our upcoming rally in Buellton, it's coming soon.

Congratulations Marybeth. Just keep working your way closer to being an Oregon resident like Larry and Deb will eventually be! We could just claim to be members of the state of Jefferson, then we would all be from the same state chapter.:D

We're good for either week-end. We should be back from Arizona the first week in March. Looking foreward to Oroville and sorry you missed Jackson.

Marybeth,
that is just too cool! Now we can stop and see you on our way to Reno! And when we go to Eagle Lake for fishing! If you come to Redding, call me, I'll buy you lunch! or dinner or... :)

Art has it right. You can cut over at Red Bluff or do as we do and use the Woodson Bridge exit at Corning. Just keep going east after you pass the truck stops, maybe 15-20 miles? The road will dead end (T) into 99. Go south on 99, thru all the Chico exits (you can use the left lanes thru town, which is helpful if you happen to hit town at rush hour) Just a couple miles south of town you'll hit the cut off to Oroville, again in the left hand lane. It will veer to the left and turn into a short 10 mile stretch leading to highway 70. Go thru Oroville on 70, at the south end of town, you'll see the left hand turn for Feather Falls Casino, just follow the road on in.
Hope you can join us!

New members, Oroville Meeting

We are new owners of a 2010 Big Horn 3055 and just received our membership confirmation today, member number 1456. We traded our 2000 Rio Grande Hitchhiker for a Big Horn on our last trip to Pismo Beach in October. We would be interested in attending the meeting in Oroville, depending upon when the dates are set. We live in Sacramento and are both retired. Ray and Gail Warness

Hi Ray and Gail,

Welcome to Heartland RVs, to the Heartland Owners Forum and now to the Heartland Owners Club. You have jumped in with both feet. Good for you!

Your club kit is being picked up tomorrow (11/11/09) by FedEx. It is being shipped FedEx Ground - so you'll see it maybe Friday.

Not sure if you know about the rally going on this weekend in Buellton, and if you want to take a trip down - there is still room. See details here. I will be there and it would be great to meet you both!

And of course, keep up with the planning for the NorCal rally for 2010 right here in this thread.

Finally, by keeping up with the rallies module on the Portal (link), you'll find a 2010 rally planned for October in Jackson, near you and a 2010 rally in June in Winchester Bay, OR. Fun fun!

By all means come on up to Oregon next June! Of course, going to the NorCal rally would be a great warm up for that. Deb does a good job putting stuff together and it would be nice to meet you. Hopefully the dates work out so we can meet at one or both rallies next spring.

Welcome Ray and Gail! We'd love to have you attend our Nor-Cal rally!
As we are spending the weekend in Oroville this week, I'm meeting with the coordinator to see which weekend might look better. As of right now, I am leaning towards March 26,27th. Hope that fits with your plans. Wish my Ray would retire, but maybe in 2010. When he goes, so will I. I need more time to travel!
Best wishes with your new rig, I'm sure it will be great for you. Don't forget to use the forum as a resource. We've avoided a few minor issues with our BH, simply by checking ours after others posted. It's been a really good unit for us, and I hope you're as happy as we have been with Heartland and their customer service.
Hope to meet you in March!

Oroville Rally

Thank you for the welcome. I am still trying to figure out how to navigate around the site so I am glad to see I made a connection. Gail said the March 26, 27 dates would be better for her. Let us know what the next steps are in registering for the rally. In regards to Oregon in June that would be a nice trip. We have always enjoyed our travels in Oregon.
