PDI at the Factory

We will be ordering a Cyclone (which model, who knows, hard decision!) in Jan or Feb of 2010. Is it possible to pick up our 5er at the factory and do the PDI there? If so, do they have a place to hook up so we could do an overnight inspection?

Congrats on your decision on when to order. Heartland does not sell direct to retail. As such, we do not have a factory pickup option. That said, you can get close to a similar result if you order through our Elkhart dealer.

I bought mine from Great Lakes RV. Several miles from the factory. Gary Davis was my sales person.

Price was good and a smooth sale.
Their service center is a mile or so from the dealer. They have 30 amp hookups in the parking for you to stay while you are doing the PDI. You are encouraged to stay at least one night to work your "systems".

No charge either.

I too bought from Great lakes RV Center in Elkhart, Great pricing and a smooth sale.

Oh, and they give you a 30-50 adapter to hook up your electric. Water is available but no pump out. They mentioned to me when there that they could make an arrangement for pump out, but it was not necessary for me.
