Center Point Suspension 8K Axles

The Lippert rep did a great job of installing the Center Point and 8K axles on our Augusta. We are running about 10 psig higher on the off curb side to make the trailer run level on level ground. Rides great and stops better. With the brake controller on 10 you can lock up the trailer wheels. We run it on 8.5 go match the truck.

Great upgrade for safety and ride.

You can't be to safe, the 8,000 lb axles and center point suspension are a great upgrade, Did you go with the 17.5" tire? We have to run 10 psi more on the off door side because of the difference in weight. Our MS was weight at each tire and land gear (jack) so we know the weight on each side before it was delivered. GBY....

Stayed the with E tires but sure thought about going to the 17.5 G series. Probably will when it is time to replace them. Had them on one of our older Coach's and never had a flat in years.

Larry,

You should have Goodyear load range G tires/wheels on your Augusta from the factory.

17.5" trailer tires are load range H.

Jim,

You are correct We Have H on the 550 and G on the Augusta, stayed with the Goodyear G614 which we like and have had good luck with. Thanks for catching that.

We had a previous Coach with 17.5 and still have the extra wheels that would fit on the Augusta as well. The Yellowstone we traded in had the E and was a slip up on my part.

Thanks

Larry

Larry,

Please double check this today. The Augusta should have "Load Range G" tires and wheels on it. If it has Load Range E, you have the wrong tires. I think you just have it backwards.

G on the RV, E on the truck and if you were to go with 17.5 tires on the RV, they would be H.

Not trying to be confusing, just wanting to make sure you have the correct tires on your Augusta.

Jim
