:angel: This is a special recipe that DannyLee and I love to share on those nights when firing up the grill or anything more than a single pan is just too complicated. The name "Just Us" Pas-tus come from a private joke related to a graphic we have on our door to welcome visitors.
Being a "Johnny Cash" tribute artist with a "June" to drag on-stage every now and then, we needed a "friendly, family argument" to introduce the song "Long-legged, Guitar-pickin' Man". That argument takes shape on our front door and ends with the phrase "Just Us". The Pas-tus part will come clear in the recipe below.
2 boxes of Pasta Roni Garlic & Olive Oil Vermicelli
1 container of fresh hummus with garlic (or up to you!)
Favorite bread
Prepare the pasta according to the package directions. (We need 2 boxes cause DannyLee really likes this and eats a lot!)
I place a slice of bread on the plate cause there always seems to be more sauce then pasta and then spoon the pasta over the top of the bread.
Then add a generous helping of hummus to the pile and mix it all together.
YUM!! This is one of our personal favorites!
