Fridge Question

The Dometic fridge has a small electric wire with what appears to be a sensor. What is it for and is it to be attached to something?

If you mean the wire inside attached to a little slider clip on the fins, that's the thermostat to regulate the temperature inside the freezer. You can adjust the temperature by sliding it up and down. Up is coldest, down is warmer. It also affects the temperature in the refridgerator, so if you're making ice cubes in trays, set it high and move it back down a bit after the ice is made or the refer may get too cold (P. 9 of owners manual).

John is correct for the 2 door units, if you have the larger 4 door unit it is just the temp sensor and should be cliped towards th e top left hand corner.

Thanks for the replies. Our sensor cord became detached from the slider. I'll have to figure out how it connects to the slider.
