Gator Fittings

It is so windy here that the pilot went out in the water heater in the house. Went to relite the pilot and found a plastic fitting leaking. Went to Lowes and got a Gator fitting. They just push on the pipe and you are done. They can make a plumber out of anybody. They make almost any fitting you could need. They also come in 1/2 and 3/4. That is one of the best products that I ever bought. A little expensive but worth every penny. They will work on pex, pvc,quest,copper or any combination. They also sell a little tool which makes them removable.

Yep those thing are great. Watts makes a plastic version that is a bit cheaper and still work great. I had to use a bunch of them in a house I bought as a HUD repo and had not been winterized before vacating.

Home Depot sells them but their brand is Shark fittings.
