Good information. What about simply retracting the slide-outs during the night when sleeping? Perhaps, except the bedroom slide. Seems like this would help reduce the square footage being heated.

If you look I think you would find that you will cover up some of the heater vents. IMHO you are better off with the slides open.

Plus, you'd lose all the snow off the slideout awnings! :D
