Perhaps take a picture and some measurements.
I just went out and measured the two distances that you can compare.
There are three parts to these landing gear legs. The fixed (black color) frame lip that comes down just a few inches from the bottom of the trailer.
The solid piece that scopes in and out of the fixed frame lip (for lack of better terms).
And the bottom legs (with feet) with holes that you raise and lower to touch the ground.
Distance between the inside of both black frame lips is 65 13/16".
Then, at the bottom of the legs (closest to the ground) I had the exact same measurement as above. So spacing is the same.
If I had to guess, give your statement, your bottom (ground) measurement should be a little less than your top measurement, right?
