If you have the capabilities for no hook-ups this campground is one of my favorites. Not very far from Townsend,Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

Hi 340cuda,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and they are all willing the help and share knowledge if needed.

Enjoy the forum and your new unit.

I have found some of the campsites a little small at Cades Cove Campground, at least the leftovers are if you are coming in for a short stay. We stay in Townsend at either Big Meadows campground or the KOA (little pricey). Depending on the size of your rig, Little River Campground, also in Townsend, has added 50 amp service and can handle larger rigs but I don't like crossing the little bridge to get to the campground. It's still quiet in Townsend, kind of like the park. Hope this helps.
