This weekend, weather permitting, I'll be installing a 106" slide awning. Any tips? Just use a ton of good sealer is what I'm thinking.

Install went smooth, but took about 4 hours. It was difficult to lift and slide with one person and outside temps were 22 degrees! Works great, looks nice. Difficulty on a 1-10, probably a 4.

Too cold to do anything but work fast so I didn't take a camera. Freezing my butt off was only big issue when grabbing aluminum, ladder, brackets, etc. Al really sucks the heat out of your hands. Since I was playing with caulk and stuff, couldn't wear gloves too often. I only have one slide in the travel trailer, main living room. Its 100" long, so installed a 105" awning. Post install, I believe I could have gone with about 107" fabric. If you go too long, the roller will be too long to fit in the brackets on the slide.
