Placing Order This Week for BH 3670

With the great help of the Forum in answering questions we are finally placing our order for a BH 3670 this week. We sent our dealer a list of everything we wanted(have been Rving for 30+ years, 4-5 mths/year), even the pie-in-the-sky items. We figured we would spend a few weeks in Elkhart adding what Heartland couldn't add and/or the dealer couldn't add. Some things we were not comfortable with either of them adding so we were going to end up in Elkhart no matter what.

I am very surprised as to how accommodating Heartland is in adding "non-documented options". Only one of pie-in-the-sky options do we need to go to Elkhart for.

The ability for Heartland to have this flexibility is wonderful. Makes our life so much easier without having to spend weeks in Elkhart having things added.

Thank you Heartland and the Forum.

We are alos getting ready to order a 3670. Glad to hear of the success in options. Just curious was one of the options solar panel? I have noticed it is not in the specifications, have not heard from the dealer it is possible to add.

Congratulations on your decision. Once you get your Big Horn, consider joinng in with our local Owner's Club. We get together for rallies a couple of times a year.

Congratulation on your decison to order the Big Horn. Now is the hard part waiting till your baby gets to come home. Maybe you will have it in time to come to the Eastern Region rally. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the welcome. After lurking for a few years we now will become full members.

Regarding the Solar, no that is not an option. We wouldn't want it to be either. Each person has different needs with solar, from panels to controller. We have been dealing with the same solar guy for 30 years, talked to him about our needs and he will ship a solar "kit" to our dealer who will install(told dealer no holes in the roof, run wires down a pipe). We are going with a 2 panel, 75w each(I think), we decided against the one panel option. Our RV dealer Rvs himself and uses solar so we feel confidant that the install will be clean.

Congratulations on your new rig and welcome to the Heartland family. You will love the 3670 layout. We have the Landmark version of that and we love ours. While you are in Elkhart please make sure you go to the factory and take a tour. If you need input on things to do while in Elkhart or places to eat just ask.

Good luck,
Mark
