Best wishes for your rally! I wish Ray was retired already so we could go. He's getting closer, especially with all the furlough days the city's doing. There's always next year tho, and we will try to make one in So Cal.

:(HEY Bob, We will be out of town that weekend, may would be better for us but go ahead and have a great time if you guys go on the 9th and 10th we will catch the next one, take care.

Marty, like it says, the date and month are not set in stone. Bob

Great to get the ball rolling, Dan and I will be in Yosemite that weekend with Dan's photography class. We couldn't find an RV site big enough in Yosemite so we are going to stay in the lodge, better than a heated tent cabin.

Hannah, like I told Marty, give me some input about dates. We can make it easy for everyone. Bob

02-28-2010, 12:14 PM
I have only had 3 replies to the rally thread. I am looking for some input as to the month and days. As the original post said " THIS IS ONLY A TENTATIVE DATE". So if anyone is interested Please let me know. Bob

Wow,, where IS everyone? This weekend works for us, but looks like we are the only ones (darn!). We can't make April 17th. Also, May 8th is out for us (daughter graduating College in Georgia!). The end of May will probably not work for us either -- cat adoption events here in San Diego. What about June, everyone? Let's help Bob out and suggest some dates that you can make.

Well Socal people, we now have 10 coaches coming. I still need to know what you would like for the POT LUCK. Also what if any desserts you are bringing. Bob

I am looking forward to our first Heartland Rally. Thanks Bob for setting this up.

To all the Socal people coming to the rally. As of today everybody has been assigned their sites. They are posted on the "MAP" (1st post on this thread). All you have to do is go the the registration desk and give them your name. They will direct you to the sites. For those of you that have never been to Pechanga. Follow the signs at the casino, look for the one that says RV's. Its the 3RD main street, it's just past the casino, turn right. There is a gas station at that corner. When you turn, it should be on your left. Follow that road all the way to the end and turn left. When you get through the gate, turn left again. The registration building is on your right side. turn right and follow the lines. Any questions email or PM me. Bob:D

Hey Bob, any of those dinner options are great for us, but the babyback ribs do sound really good, but were not picky and im sure Theresa will make the cobbler.

03-19-2010, 07:03 PM
LISTEN UP FOLKS Here is what I have decided. We will have some assorted ribs, hamburgers, hot dog's. I will make a big kettle of potato salad (my mothers) and Patty will bring her 3 bean what ever it is, all I know is it's good and it's warm.

I already have some ladies bringing dessert's, but we could use a few more. SO, we should be good for the eat's.

Now I will get the soda's but you can BYOB. I will get Coke and Pepsi ...leaded and unleaded. If there is any other kind you like, please let me know.:D

Wow,, that sounds GREAT, Bob~! How about I bring a Dutch Apple Pie with some French Vanilla Ice cream. Hmmm,, I wonder how a Kahula French Vanilla Ice Cream Float would taste??? Hope to see you all there. Fair winds and smooth waters~
