Uvalde - Concan Texas Area

We spent 2 months at Quail Springs RV Park in Uvalde. It has many large trees and staff was freindly.
Try www.parkviewriversiderv.com . We have stayed there several times and really enjoyed. It is on the Frio River across from Garner State Park.

If you want close to or on the river, then you need to be looking at Leakey, Rio Frio, and Concan for rv parks. There is also a really nice state park, Garner State Park. We have been going to the area for years and Parkview Riverside RV Park is among the nicest you will find in the area. It is right across the river from the state park.
Our kids, now 48 & 50 started going to the area when they were in high school. We go have been going every Labor Day for years also.
One thing,, you need to make reservations way ahead... they usually open reservations up on Jan 1st and a lot are booked for the holiday dates by Jan 15th...
One other thing... ask and make sure they can handle a big 5er.. some of the older parks cannot handle the newer larger units... in fact a lot of them.
