Drawer Modifications

I had noticed that there was more room behind the drawers in the pantry , kitchen ,and bedroom areas, so I increased the size of those drawers. A few inches seemed to make a big differance in the space for each drawer. I used 1/2" birch plywood for the box and 1/4" birch on the bottoms.

Good job! I'll have to take a look at the drawers in our rig. I know the wife would like a bit more room in the dresser. I've made a lot of drawers with 1/2" baltic birch. Got a honey-do project running right now that'll need 24 of them.

Well, just for grins, I went out to the rig in the storage yard and checked our bedroom dresser drawers. Seems they're as deep (10") as they can be, so I won't be doing any mods to them. The Sundance dresser unit must be deeper than the BH. I checked the big drawer under the refer, too, and it's as deep as it can go without hitting the wiring and piping behind it.
