noises while backing & turning

Here is a good "newbie to fiver" question. When we are backing the Big Country and turning say to get it into a spot...boy does she creak, and make noises like everything is breaking apart. Is this normal ? Since we are motorhome people, we are not used to hearing any of this. The unit was at the dealer for warranty repairs and I am sure they had to move it around so it must be normal??? right:confused::confused:

Clymer , SOME of the noises are normal !!! I would check the suspension bolts and brackets , just to be sure that all is well. Too , check the bolts on the pin box for movement. Best wishes and may God Bless ya,

We close the windows and turn the radio up.... :)
We came from MH's also, so the noise took a little getting used to. Over two years and ours is still holding together, noises and all.

Pretty much normal. The tighter the turn...the more noise you will here. Make sure after you get it straight, pull the coach forward and then back in again. You need to "unload" the suspension. Bob

Get one of the white plastic king pin discs and that will eliminate a lot of grinding while manuevering. It also eliminates having to grease the hitch plate.
