Shower Cut off

OK, we replaced our shower head and the replacement has no button to cut off the water. Is there a inline device I can install to cut off the water instead of having it run during the whole shower? I looked at Lowes but was unable to find anything.

I know you full timers are full of ideas.

Thanks

I found mine at Lowes and it is brass with chrome plating. Ask a plumbing specialist and they should be able to help.

Thanks Tom, does it fit onto the shower hose or at the outlet at the faucet controls? Is there anyway you could post a picture of the device so I would know what I am looking for?

It fits on the oulet for the faucet controls then the shower hose attaches to that. Lowes also had they type that attaches to the shower hose then to the sower head. The DW is still in bed, 7:30am, so taking a pic might get her a litte rlled right now.

Here's what they look like:

But - if possible, don't get this one - it's chrome plated plastic and I just had one break after less than one month's usage.

Tom - thanks for the Lowes tip on the chrome plated brass one. Gonna check that out today :)

Thanks guys. This will make my terk to Lowes a little less stressful to say the least. Sometimes it is better to have a picture.

Thanks Tom and Jim found one at Home Depot on the way to the campground. Installed it and it worked perfectly. I actually found the one that has the slide pin all for under $5.00.
