Question about furnace when stored

We would like to run the fan on the furnace to circulate electrically heated warm air through out the trailer while stored. Is there any problem with turning off the propane and then turning on the furnace? Will this cause the automatic striker to burn out?
Thanks, Karen

From the looks of it in the manual, the fan will only run if the furnace or A/C is operating. If you turn off the propane, the furnace will attempt to light three times and then give up if it does not ignite. Curious, why do you want to heat it if it's in storage?

If you have a cover on one of your roof vents, you could open a roof vent and run a small electric heater on low. My guess is you are trying to keep it dry in the rig over the winter or just between trips? Even just having a roof vent open will allow some air to move. Just a thought!

Thanks for your replies. Since we will be using the trailer on a regular basis we did not want to winterize and flush each time we use it. We wanted to keep the trailer heated to avoid freezing. Electric heat is more convenient than gas but it sounds like our plan will not work.

The other option is to crack the roof vent just a bit (if not in a routine snow/rain location), and buy a couple cheap box fans.
