Reciver hitch mounted splash guards

I have seen a lot of folks use them and believe in them, especially those that do a lot of towing on gravel or unpaved roads. You might check out Tweetys.
Good people to deal with in my opinion.

Has anyone ever tried one of the reciever hitch mounted splash guards. I pull a lot of gravel roads and want to protect my new Eagel Ridge. I found a $300 guard at http://www.towtector.com/ and one for
$150 at http://www.rvupgradestore.com/browseproducts/IBC-Hitch-Mount-Splash-Stop.html

Do they work?

Thanks in advance for you help

Thanks for the link, Alumilene makes so very interesting products. Tweety's is great fast shipping and free shipping on lots of items.

I bought a set from Enkay when I tried delivering RV's. They are great people to work with and the flaps did the job.

When we ordered we had considered the diamond plate option that Heartland has. It didn't seem all that pricey..................

Alvin, I purchased Rock Tamers from COSCO on-line in January 2010. They had the best price ($ 169.00 at the time, if I recall correctly). The Rock Tamers are built to last. Took me about 1-1/2 hours from start to finish. I used a drill instead of the supplied punch to make the new mounting holes.
