We are new to BC and are excited to get our rig. Our previous rig was a Cougar 318 2010 and we were not impressed with the workmanship. After lots of research and knowing what we didn't want this time we decided on BC.
We spent our first winter as snowbirds and are really looking forward to next season in the new rig. Woooo whooooo

Hi bobw103,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge and help if needed.

Now the hard part,,,, waiting on your new Big Country. I'm sure you will enjoy your new unit when it gets here. Do a very good PDI when you pick it up.

Where did you spend your first winter?

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome too, see you are from the North country so are we, you will like the Big Country. We like ours and can hardly wait to get home and see if we can stir up a few rv owners in our little town. We purchased our rv down here and have only pulled it 60 miles. Leaving Texas Wednesday to head back to SD.

Jim, we went from MN to Texas to Yuma then Palm Springs to San Diego, Arizona and now back to MN. Too bad the weather was not very cooperative much of the time but it was great anyway. Our trip did tell us that we certainly needed to upgrade. We do plan on taking 'the list' with us when we pick up our rig.
Rvn, Dakota huh, we are practically neighbors. Where in Texas? We were mostly in the Houston area as our son lives there. It is not one of our favorite places however.

Hey Bobbi,

Yes ,, Houston is not good area for RV's. We are between San Antonio and Corpus Christi,,,big city of George West, Tx. Next year come on down to Rockport, Corpus, and our area,,, you will like it.... Let your son drive a little to see you.

We are at Belton Tx now at a corp campground until after Easter then a long trip up to South Dakota. We wintered on the Guadalope river just north of San Antonio, but now we are headed north.
