Pin weight on new 3500RL

I have a new BC 3500RL and the pin weight is 3600#. This may not seem excessive to some but I do not have the underbelly loaded up, I have 30gal fresh water in tank and 5gal water in the black tank. Of coarse there is 12gal in the HW tank and two 30gal LP tanks. The dry pin weight on this unit is a little over 2000# and the unloaded weight is 12300#. Still I find it hard to believe that I have 1600# in front of the axles. My gross weight on the unit turned out to be 15800# and the trailer is rated at 15500#. Anyone have similar weights????

Yes, that seems very hard to believe. My dry weight is published just under 2100 and I had the pin weighed at the factory which said 2206. I've added about 300 pounds to the pin since then. Is your basement full of cinder blocks??
