black water tank control panel

I just bought a new Elkridge and made our first trip. Everything worked great except for the light in the control panel for the black water tanks. It never registered above empty, even after 3 days. My wife is slightly concerned. I'm assuming that as long as you don't see anything down the pipe in the toilet we're okay?

Hi kerryb,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of good information and all willing to help and share their knowledge.

First for your gage panel check all your fuses. If all good, then I would pull the panel and check the wiring, may be just not plugged in.

Your commode will usually start burping before it gets completely full.

I'm sure some more will come in with more suggestions also. I am moving the thread over to the Elkridge area also.

Enjoy the forum.

I had a wire that came loose from the tank. I found it when I removed the underbelly for an inspection. If you need to do that and you are in warranty I would suggest the dealer do it as it is a job. (Not hard just laborious)
BTW the sensors are notorious for being inaccurate.
