Many of you are aware of the "Senior Pass" ($10 lifetime) that gives FREE access to National Parks, National Forests, 50% discounts for camping at BLM and COE facilities. I was not aware that there is a paralell "Access Pass" for disabled persons that is free. The best test of disability is whether you are getting SSI disability checks, but there are other documentation methods detailed on this website. These passes allow free admission for the covered person and up to 4 other adults in the car (kids are free) to the National Parks.
Here is a link to the Access Pass info. At the top left of the webpage there is a link to the Senior Pass info.

Thanks for the info Bill. I got my Senior Pass last Winter and have used it several times already. What a handy tool.

I am not yet even 60. However I am a disabled Viet Nam vet and drawing a disability pension as a result from the VA. Does anyone know if I might be eligible for the access pass.
