Oven Ignitor

My wife and I purchased a new Big Horn 3610RE and we really love the unit. If we had one improvement to wish for it would be some sort of spark / ignitor for the oven. Standing on our head with a lighter is not the most pleasurable experience.

Thanks,

We just picked ours 3670 up and plan to add a barbecue igniter to the oven. This is a standard solution, just make sure the pilot lights..................

There was a thread a year or so ago on this forum from a member who did the Bbq ignitor modification. I tried it but was unable to make it work.
I had spark but no flame. I was close enough to the pilot tube but just couldn't get it to ignite. Logically it should work. It's a great idea.

Here's the thread where someone figured out how to do their own: //heartlandowners.org/showthread.ph...ded-oven-igniter?p=27646&viewfull=1#post27646

Renee is 12 years younger and limber as a wet noodle. She lights the oven just fine. Now, if I had to light it we would be eating cold sandwiches!
