Best tape for underbelly

Hi, I have to repair hole in the underbelly of my 2011 North Trail. It is triangular, about 1 inch on each side. No idea about how I got it. It is just under the pipe for the black tank. I am hoping to fill it with handifoam sealant black after getting that suggestion from Gary in the service department. After cuttting the flush with the underbelly, I might want to tape it with something strong. Thanks, Theresa

Black "Gorilla Tape".

I have tried several tapes but have Nashua (spelling?) has worked the best. I could only find it at Home Depot here in Canada and I know others in the States have found it there as well. I cleaned the underbelly surface with Mineral Spirits first before applying the tape. Doug

When I had the gray water valve replaced on my trailer the mobile repair that did the work use some black tape with fabric in it that he said he purchased from a manufacture. I will try to contact hime and see what he used. It works great and looks good.

I also vote for the Nashua Deluxe flashing tape. 7 inches wide and has a backing you peel off to stick it on.
