If you wouldn't mind sharing, how did the landing gear break? Did it bend and break while lowering? I've had to get one of mine replaced and it still doesn't sound healthy when jacking up and off the truck. It makes a noise like its ready to shatter and I'm afraid the 5'er will just tip over and take my truck with it.
