Rate your overall experience with the factory to include phone calls, email, tours and other first-hand factory experiences you may have had.

DO NOT VOTE if you have had no first-hand experience with the factory.

Forum member and prospective Heartland owner GaryB suggested a poll to rate satisfaction in several areas to be used as a gauge for prospective owners.

As best that can be done within this forum's poll software, below are separate polls to gather and track this information. I ask that only current and former Heartland product owners take these 5 satisfaction polls. Member names will remain private for these 6 polls.

You will only be allowed to vote once and you will not be allowed to change your vote later. So please respond carefully to this one-time opportunity to vote in this poll.

Our Sundance factory tour 1-07

:D We toured the factory in January 2007 after making an appointment. We were considering an 08 Sundance 2900MK. John, a manager, showed us the new factory and the Sundance production line. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the factory and how they kept each 5th wheel so clean during manufacture. The employees were also able to answer our questions, and took obvious pride in their work and the company. The QC gal went through every work station, taping areas to be corrected and signed off, before moving the trailer to the next work station. Some of the things she spotted we could not even see. She was very picky and that was a nice reassurance to know our potential trailer would be looked after so well. We saw how each station put the coach together and the materials used. This trailer is not slapped together. They had to sign off on each phase before the trailer moved on to the next assembly area. If something was not right, it was corrected. No one took a correction as a personal critique, just took a lot of pride in doing the job right. After the factory tour, we agreed that the Sundance was the 5th wheel that we would buy. We went back to our home in northern Michigan and ordered a new 2008 Sundance 2900MK from our local dealer, Petoskey RV USA. The factory tour and the employee pride in their product sold us. Petoskey RV made our buying experience really nice and I expect that should we need any service they will be just as helpful. We can't wait to see our new unit delivered around April 1. None

We had the pleasure of taking a Heartland Factory tour in 2006. The staff who usually gives the tour was away at the time we arrived so Ron Dickeson stepped in and offered to take us through the plant. I may be wrong, but I believe Ron is one of the owners of the company.

Karen and I already did quite a bit of homework of the product they offered. We came well prepared, with a note pad and pen in hand and a tape measure in my pocket. Both came in very handy. We took several notes of details that we we couldn't find in the publications offered by Heartland.

Before we arrived for the tour, we expected we would order soon a 3055-RL BigHorn. One major issue we needed to know was if our two chairs would fit in the 3055-RL. It was this tour that convinced us we needed to change our ideas and select another model, one large enough for our needs as well as the Lazy Boy chairs.

Ron Dickeson gave us one Heck of a good Plant Tour. We seen every aspect of the building of their Fifth Wheel RV's. I can't begin to tell you how helpful it was. When we finished the tour... we knew we what we wanted. We knew the size of RV we'd be buying and we knew the choice of fabric we wanted. We knew what would best fit our needs for our first NEW Home. As this is our only home... we live full time in our RV.

We've been living in our New 3400-RL for over 3 months now. We couldn't be happier with our choice both in the Heartland Product over all and our very own BigHorn. The whole buying process was one of the very best I have had of any large item purchase I ever made.

I strongly recommend to anyone thinking of making a purchase of a New RV... to take the time to go through a Factory tour. You'll come away with far more than the visual of how they are built. You'll come away with a understanding what Heartland is trying to provide.... A Quality product that will offer many years of fun and enjoyment for their customers.

Totally agree with Marv & Karen. Heartland was one of seven factories we visited before we made up our mind. Although they had not yet even made the Bighorn model that we bought, we were shown a Landmark Monticello which was the same basic floorplan and we had explained the differences that we could expect on the Bighorn 3655RD. We were sold on it by the time we left. Thanks to the Heartland folks that took the time to walk us through the facility.

Ron escorted Gail and I on our tour in September 06. I think we were there about 3 hours, very thorough tour.

Went to see our unit being built at the factory on Thursday 3-26-09, as soon as we walked in the workers were pushing our unit to the end of the line for final touches. All the guys and gals were very nice and accomadating, answering any questions and conserns, and if there was something not right they fixed it immediately. Tim Koffman made sure we were happy and Dave the project manager spent alot of time with us. Our experiance with the factory couldn't of been any better !! Everyone was fantastic !! I would encourage anyone ordering or buying a unit ,go to the factory and coordinate with the rep to see your unit as it aproaches final assembley. My experiance gives the factory an A+, A big Thank you very much to all those who worked and had a part in building our unit.

Great service

Never went to the factory, too far away from Oregon but have communicated through the forum and e-mail and once through the factory rep in Sacramento, Mike Moreland. Had several problem from the landing gearbox breaking, missing manuals and a broken couch. The factory team has been great every time with advise or shipping needed repair parts directly to my home to avoid a long dealer run. Mike was very helpfull when the gearbox broke as I unhooked at home and made sure I was taken care of.

I think more owners should be voting here. You can't tell me only 50 some owners have dealt with HL. We were there in october and had a great experience. Only thing I was disappointed In was I didn't get pics of my build.
