Carpet on living room slide gets wet at wheelwell

I have a 2006 3055RL. My problem is that when traveling and going through rain, I get a wet spot on my carpet on the living room slide. It is aligned with the wheels on that side. Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem? Is there a rubber seal or something that can be installed to prevent the water from penetrating the seam?

We had the same problem with a previous SOB. The gasket was replaced by the dealer and that solved the problem.

Our old "06" 3055 did the same thing. There is no seal to keep water out of the slide when it is in. Heartland made a seal for them after that. You should call them, I am sure they can fix you up. Its a pretty easy fix and works well.

Heartland developed what they call "corner blocks" which are installed under the slide to stop this problem. As suggested, call them about obtaining some for your slides...they work great, never had a problem in our 08'...think they became standard in that model year.
