Leaf spring Bump Stop

I wonder why our RV suspensions don't have Bump Stops to protect the leaf springs from bending to far and cause possible breakage? Most trucks and autos have them. For $10 each and a few hours labor it's low cost insurance in my view. (I still have to weld them in)

My unit didn't come with shocks.....I found some that would work on a Monroe PDF.and welded a L bracket to the frame for the top support.

cool, now that is how a shock is supposed to be mounted. Maybe you should send that idea to Lippert, cause they seem to be a little confused.
