I know all of us Vietnam Vets really appreciate the praise. As the history books show our kids and grandchildren, many of the Vietnam Veterans came home to fruit and veggies thrown at them and being called baby killers. That really hurt bad. I am happy to say that over the last 10-15 years when most folks know I served there, they usually in some form thank me for my service. I have to admit it is music to my ears. We have finally been recognized by our populace. Sweet! Makes it all worth it. Happy Memorial Day to all Americans. Our soldiers who have served, or are serving now truly appreciate the deserved holiday that honor our fallen soldiers.

I also couldn't agree more. While we may have political disagreements, we all agree on one thing. Our fighting men and women have kept our country free and continue to do so. Thank you all for your service!
